We are offering two types of Kesar (Saffron) i.e, Lachha Saffron and Mongra Saffron.

Our products are well known for their high nutrition, aroma, taste, flavour, and natural colouring. These are also widely demanded by various industries such as food, beverages, perfumes, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, ice creams.There are also used for cooking and flavouring & moreover in performing certain rituals. Our products are available under the brand name of "Kumkum."

The Company was established in the year 2007 by the farmers of the Saffron City of Pampore (Kesar Valley) when these farmers were exploited by the middle men. The educated youth of this farming society took a collective decision to cultivate the precious product of saffron and to supply this golden condiment to the various buyers / consumers of the country and abroad at farm rates. Thus, "Kesar Valley Farmers" an association of small and marginal farmers was formed.

We produce a varied range of Kesar (Saffron) that is extremely high in quality. Our products are used in various fields such as food and beverages, perfumes, medicinal and pharmaceutical, flavouring, confectionery, cosmetics, sweets, ice cream, and using in worships. We deal in:

Moreover, our quality controllers ensure that each and every stage of the production process is thoroughly inspected by them.

Our Facilities

We produce a large quantity of Kesar (Saffron) through the traditional farming procedure in Kashmir. Our facility is spread over a large area of land. Each acre of land that we have yields more than 4 Kilos of Saffron. We have employed a team of experienced farmers who cultivate the Saffron on their farms. We also carry out inspection of the farms on a regular basis.

We have with us the service of well trained and skilled labours who execute all the processes involved in the most efficient manner. The Saffron crop is usually harvested in the months of October-November of every calendar year. We can assure our clients that we do not use child labour, and we also pay utmost attention to our employees' rights and their physical and psychological health.

Apart from using traditional methods, we can proudly say that we are technologically advanced as well. We have our own R&D wing, which is high on technology. Herein, our R&D experts conduct rigorous researches and analysis to come up with innovative techniques to improve the quality of our range of Saffron. Through this, we are able to come up with products that meet the exact requirements of clients at all times.

Warehousing & Packaging

We possess a large and spacious warehouse that is located at our processing unit at Pampore in Kashmir. It has been developed in accordance with the industry guidelines. The unit is completely moisture-free, pest-free & dust-free and the atmosphere is maintained in such a manner that is favourable to keep the quality of our range of Kesar (Saffron) intact. The warehouse is also located near various transportation mediums, which allows us to deliver the products, be it in small or large quantities, in a punctual manner.

We give utmost importance to the packaging of our products. We make use of high quality packaging material such as plastic containers, pouches and carton boxes. The packaging is done as per the B.I.F and P.F.A procedures. This is done so as to retain the product quality during the time of transit. The consumer packs are available in 1 gram, 3 grams, and 5 grams under the brand name of 'Kumkum'. We also provide samples of our products so that clients can get a gist of the quality of our products, before placing their orders.
